V4.40 – Automatic OneDrive backup edition

I’m sure most of you have had to reinstall GymBuilder at some point to find that you forgot to backup your data. Well with the addition of Automatic OneDrive Backup, you don’t have to worry anymore! Just login to OneDrive, set the frequency, and the app will check if it needs to upload a backup, whenever you run it.

Grab it now from the store!

I have been looking for an app like this, and couldn’t find one that would help me track what I did LAST time for any particular exercise. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, and had even considered building on my own. It was advertised as the free app of the day, yesterday, and maybe something was wrong with MyAppFree, because it was regular price when I got to the store. I tried it for five minutes, saw that it was exactly what I had been looking for, and bought it anyway. Great work. Have you looked into making out a universal app? There are tasks (mostly editing a new routine) that would be much easier on a larger screen. Sharing of routines or exercise definitions would be very helpful, too, although you might want that to be more of a “submit for inclusion” than a free for all library a la NuGet, which could get messy pretty quickly.

      Hi Mel,

Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the problem with myfreeapp, it was available for free for around 36 hours, maybe there was some problem with the timing of taking it down.

I have thought numerous times about making this a universal app, unfortunately there are some technologies I use that aren’t available there yet. I’m waiting to see what Windows 10 bring and will likely reimplement the app there as Universal.

At some point I would like to build an online exercise/workout collaberation portal, but that it still a little way off I think 🙂
